All backlinks are not created equal - make sure your websites inbound links are from trusted, relevant sources and avoid junk or spam citations. Have you ever wondered why Google.com delivers different results for a user in the US than for a user in Germany? Internal linking is one of the few methods we can use to tell Google (and visitors) that a particular page of content is important. So how should you go about linking internally to other pages of your website?2 Provide high quality photographs of products, and include an easy to use magnification system so customers can get a good idea of the details. Be sure that colors are accurate and that no parts are obscured by reflections. Try photographing the items from several angles and either choose the most attractive result or allow customers to view each version in turn.
A truly successful SEO headline is direct and to-the-point
Google and other search engines keep the inner workings of their algorithms a secret. All we can do is speculate and test. The problem with speculation is that if an idea seems believable, it becomes eagerly accepted as truth without the data to back up the speculation. Businesses consider social media a key element of their SEO strategies. Mobile SEO is – just like regular SEO – all about making sure your site is crawlable and findable. Also, you need stellar performance, great content and a flawless UX. Instead of creating content, a lot of websites should be focused on cleaning content.
Links are about so much more than Search Engine Optimisation
Utilise existing relationships with suppliers, partners and even customers to get links to your website. For example, if you sell a supplier’s products see if they have a section on their website that lists places to buy their products or distributors and ask if you can be added to this list. Other sources of links are industry specific directories where it makes sense for your business to have a listing. Search volume refers to how many times a particular phrase is searched for. It’s a handy way to gauge how much traffic you’ll receive from a specific query, though you should know that volume tends to fluctuate over time. Most modern SEO agencies will continue to proclaim that "content is king" (and in my opinion, it truly is). But being king is nothing without a kingdom. Like a tree falling with nobody around to hear it, good content with nobody around to read it is useless. When you add a new page to your website under the blog section, for example, you add a ‘slug’ onto the end of the URL structure that is already in place. The slug refers to the next few words that relate to your new page
Use the topic cluster model
Search engine optimisation isn't always enjoyable for small businesses. Aside from having to compete together with your closest rivals, you've got those business leaders hogging up page one search results. User-generated content (UGC) sites and communities are two of my favourite places to find untapped keywords. Never Repeat to much your Keyword with Bold / Emphasis. It makes your article unreadable and hurt user experience. According to SEO Consultant, Gaz Hall: "You can no longer write a bunch of spun articles with your backlinks and place them on sites and article directories that are completely irrelevant to your niche, and still get rewarded by Google."
Ensure each page has a unique target keyword
Search engines audiences are “in demand” mode and already tell you what they are looking for. This makes them a fantastic pre-qualified market to tap into. If you wish to drive revenue from new business and but find other lead generation tactics ineffective, this is a key platform to consider. Ensure that your site is set to load at either www.domainname.co.uk or domainname.co.uk – not both. There is a technical difference between the two, but for most people it shouldn’t matter either way as far as you stick with your preference and redirect the non-preferred to your preferred one. Like many of the other parts of the page targeted for optimization, filenames and alt text (for ASCII
languages) are best when they're short, but descriptive. Use search engine friendly permalinks. Try not to have too many ‘&’, ‘?’, ‘!’ etc characters in the URL. Sometimes it is unavoidable but try to keep it to a minimum.
